Phosphate Removing Filter Pad

My phosphates are at 0.1 however I'm still struggling a bit with hair algae and cyano. I saw the product in the picture below and will just like to know if anyone has some experience with it? I need something to drop my phosphates that last bit to 0.03. Thanks in advance.

Apparently not all that great. These contain a small amount of GFO or Aluminum Oxide, which works as a short term solution. You will still have better results with GFO in a bag in your sump or in a reactor.

I would go with @Rors ... I use cheato in a floating basket in my sump.. change it about every month or so

Yeah occasionally detris builds up in it increasing nitrates ect
