is 0.5 mg/l that bad? the tropic marin test kit is showing more like 0.4 mg/l

Must I just leave it? & let the LR remove it & just feed less?

my Nitrates are the lowest on the test chart. so phosphate is my problem

    thanks in advance

    Mark

Get some phosphate remover, Mark. If you want to drop your phosphate quickly, then get some liquid phosphate remover (ie. LiquiPhos - I THINK is is/was called that)....

BUT, before you take any drastic steps - please have your phosphate levels double-checked at a friend/LFS....

No - it won't kill anything as such...... But, you might have a spur of nuisance algae outbreak...... or perhaps even cyano....

I already have that algae & lots of it - I did use robins Phosphate liquid remover last week.

will get it tested by LF & then take it from there!
