Hi Guys,

Can anyone possibly ID the following polyps for me. I've been searching on the web, but the closest resemblance I can find is Orange star polyps ??

There are 8 polyps per head and their appears to be a family of 6 heads clustered together.

Maybe a sun coral?

nope not a sun coral , some sotta softie , just cant get the name right now

Btw, your live rock looks amazing!

Thanks Midasblenny,

Yeah, I am really excited to see my tank everyday and notice new life appearing almost daily. I'll post some more pics of my latest discoveries.

Just worried about the following : Can there be too much flow in a tank ?
Reason for my asking is that some of the rock anemones (not Aiptasia) seem to be blowing away in the stream.

I am busy trying to ID all the new lifeforms on the LR so as to better understand their unique flow, lighting etc. requirements

not some sort of gona?

Not sure lIghty,

None of the references that I have checked online show this specific type of polyp. The closest resemblence that I could find were of the green star polyp family.
Perhaps I should wait until it grows a bit more. Might be easier to ID then. :p
