Need some advice for noob on TL 550

Hi @JS,

Please tell me more about the submersible LED light bar that you use to grow the cheato - I want to add some to my Boyu's as well, but have always struggled with a lighting option while the lid is closed.

You get LED strip lights - builder warehouse sell them....or bidorbuy etc. Try too look for one with a lower K rating....so yellower....cheato grows best with the lower colour temp lights.

Then what I did was to take a clear piece of silicone tube....20mm...any clear tube will work (glass, acrylic, plexiglass etc). I then just inserted the strip light in the tube....and siliconed the ends....thats it!:)

I run it of a old nokia cell phone charger.....its not the best looking light....but it works!
