Morne's Nano

awesome awesome tank, mornewil, if ever you frag the torch again, please consider selling to me, been looking for torch like that for ages.shot.

Thanks, It had 8 heads when i first got it. Was too big, fragged it in half and then fragged it in half again. Dont know if they form new branches though but will keep you in mind:thumbup:

lovely looking tank:)

Hi Morne' - what lighting do you have over your Boyu TL-550 tank, for those clams? Your tank is looking really great though. Does your TL550 have the built-in skimmer? I know that the TL550's used to come with PL lighting - one times 22 watt. Is that still the case?

Also - what invert food do you feed your tank? And what supplements for calcium/magnesium?

Spead reading  ....this dude has the evolutionary Radion XR-30 over his tank with a reef oct BH-1000 reef oct skimmer and a MP10vortech ..... Advanced Boyu

Ah ok. Yes Bollie. You right. I did not read his whole thread. Definitely "advanced Boyu".

I was just also wondering how long have he had his squasmosa clam in there? I have kept MANY MANY of these clams (see my avatar) - and I know how difficult it is to keep these clams alive for long periods of time.

Therefor my questions ;)

Yes thanks

@jacquesb
Have the clam in here for about 3 months now. Doing good even under the standard boyu lights it was doing good i just had it up closer to the lights.
As for feeding, flakes, pellets & nori different every day, frozens (mysid, krill and mussel) once a week fish & corals, different every week, aquavitro fuel once a week.

Oh and welcome back to MASA, saw your comeback thread:yeahdude:

Excellent Morne'!

Thanks for the WB! Yeah - we need to "feed" our pets! Also - do you dose calcium and magnesium at all? In any format? You will see the clam grow if you also dose calcium and magnesium.

Finally:slayer:

Looking good!

Is the Boyu big enough for the flame angel?
Mine is in my 200l tank and he swims every inch of that tank hourly.

They are really awesome though - my most exciting tank by far now because the Flame Angel is so active.

Your corals are really poppin! that Radion gets the job done!
