I used to do corals with T5's only years ago, but they were mostly softies.

The Boyu's tubes are good enough for keeping soft corals alive. But nobody wants "good enough". I have the LED hood for the boyu as well as the tube hood.
The LED hood is very very suitable for nearly any coral and you can grow the corals that have a much higher light requirement.
