So after a bit of a break and some construction to our house...my daughters were bugging me to build a new tank for "nemo".

Not being one to be asked twice i set to work.

I love the IM tanks...but they are stupid expensive, so set out to do my own version of it.

Tank specs. 600x490x350 with a sump area in the back. AIO style just like IM Nuvo Fusion.

Sump area also has a RO tank.

Equipment list.
AI Prime HD for the lights.
Sicce Syncra Silent 1.5 for return.
2 RW-4s for flow.
Jebao DP-4 to keep params in spec.
Modified Reef Octo Topup.
AquaEl Easy heater. 100w.
Tunze 9004 skimmer.

Pics to follow.

build sounds good.

Where are those pictures?

Next steps...running complete system with RO water and a bag of carbon for a few days....

Will get it salty this weekend and also mount AI Prime.

Awesome DIY, @JS. Real top notch stuff.

Your work is so impecable that you clearly didn't paint the wall behind the tank - I would have killed the painter if I saw that he hadn't taped the plug point before painting.

Lol...thanks for kind words.

In all fairness to my painter...i told him he didn't have to worry...as all the old plug points are being ripped out and updated...
