    looks promising.

I had not seen that light unit before. Would it be strong enough for that tank?

Pumps out 54w, display area only 600 x 390 x 350. Ive been following the light on the AI Prime Reef Forum - and the guys are loving it....if in time it is too weak i will change to a 26 or 52....but i think for what i want to keep for now it should do.

    All salty....sand and rocks in...

Got some filter floss in to help clear water...once water clears...bacteria...and then the wait for the cycle to happen...

That black ice at the shop is very nice. Been tempted to sell my clowns and getting it as well.

I've stopped worrying about the cost of this hobby a long time ago.....:whistling:

But, the glass, acrylic, plumbing, cabinet, brackets spray job etc R2500

The equipment is the pricey part.....there I have spent close to about R10 000 (could have done it for cheaper, but I like having new equipment, as:slayer: I have learnt in the past buying secondhand will cost you in the end)

Very annoyed with myself....murky water cleared by this morning...rocks just randomly placed in...will scape tonight...

I then decided to pull the filter floss and add some clean floss in....this resulted in all the dust falling back into water....so im back waiting for water to clear....

Basically its just 19mm aluminium square tube with connect it fittings...then i cut and bent the end part of the tube where it is meant to fit to light...has a 6mm cap srew hidden inside the bend...that tightens the light to the bracket...then all painted gloss black....will post a picture later...

Just a little DIY after work....made a 10l auto top up container...this will just be a temp solution as i was given a larger tank i will use, but it requires a little mod first.

Tomorrow i will mount the RW-4 controllers in the cupboard, neaten all wires and setup auto doser.

Thanks JS. A picture would be nice.
The topup container looks good. Will it auto topup?
