Maybe leave the skimmer of for now untill you added rocks. How are you cycling the tank at the moment? Or is the tank just running.

Just the return pump. uv sterliliser uv pump and the skimmer. But skimmer is doiong good now. just closed the uv velve a little so have a stopwatch also LOL
And the heater is off

Ok. Finally found the right setting on the uv for the skimmer. But I don't know why but the bubbbles is going to the bio balls compartment.

Don’t run the skimmer or UV while cycling. This will ensure you get a good build up of bio filter. Once you add the livestock you start your skimmer and tune it in.

Doesn’t make a difference. since there’s no fish rather keep them off and save electricity
