Jeabo RW series come out..... Looks more vortech

Have a look at the RW-15 (Jebao Wireless RW-15 Wave Maker) as well. Very powerful. Ordered myself two from fish street, coming in at around 200 UD$, will see what SARS knocks me with. Planning to run them in alternating mode (master-slave) for improved Gyre flow.
I see the Jebao WP range has also been upgraded to reduce noise by using rubber blades, now called the FS range.

Wonder why the pumps is compared to Vortech. I still see a wire going into the tank.

Its more like the latest Seio pumps, with a remote that can control the pumps. But yes, looks good.

Well, with their previous WP range bearing an uncanny resemblance to Tunze streams, yet having a name very similar to Vortech (a W upside down would be a??), it is no surprize they went for the more vortech like look.

The WP series (now fs) has got the budget "tunze wanabe" market covered, time to tackle the next one ;). Perhaps the continuous oriental onslaught will do something to benefit us consumers and we can all afford to have vortech earmuffs gracing the side panels of our tanks.... hmmm, or just stick with wires.

I doubt I would be far off in saying that their WP range hurt Tunze sales, wonder what impact these would have on the Vortech range. Perhaps not as much, considering we are still having wires in the tank...

Keen to see what the new Maxspect Riptide Gyre flow generator (CoralVue | Maxspect Riptide Gyre Generator Aquarium Water Flow Device) will retail at, and how long before the far East comes up with something similar, yet affordable.

Did I get it right? What do I win?

I can think of a few ways to answer that, none of them acceptable on a public forum ;).
You get to pick your prize, after all, it is Sunday and I am going home today after a long work mission in the bush, so, I am feeling generous ;)

I'm sure the Jabae WP range pumps did hurt Tunze. But even more for Seio. On functionality, these RW series works the same as the Seio with the remotes, well for me.

There are so many other pump makes out there as well, all fighting for the same position in the market. Although the Vortech is totally something else. I do not think they are that much affected.

Not quite:

C Shift to flow mode
Two pumps are needed to be operated at the same time, when they shift wave and flow in cycles. P1 work, P2 stop;P2 work, P1 stop;P1 work, P2 stop. and cycles like this. Cycle period (1s-1min)can by adjusted by switching the knob and adjust the flow rate by pressing SPEED/FEED

Wonder why the pumps is compared to Vortech.

i also think having the wire on the outside with a vortech is still a major plus for them. these might produce flow as good as a vortech though..

They really look like a tunze and vortech mated. Im sure you will get the best of both.

Review to follow shortly..

Just look at all that wine on your desk.............
Occupational Hazard.....
This one's been staring at me for a few weeks.....:

For two RW 15, including shipping, customes and handling by SA Post office, three week wait (of which 1week it spent at my local post office without them sending me a slip), a healty R2100 for two with two power supplies and two controllers. They are putting my WP 40 to shame... Had to turn them down to 70%.
