How does Zooplankton benefit the tank? Sorry for the ignorance

We run a closed system (AKA not connected to the open ocean), zooplankton is the 2nd chain in in the marine biosphere (food chain), its abundant in the ocean but not in our closed systems, we supply the 1st an 2nd stage of the marine food chain that the ocean supplies.

Fresh Live Phytoplankton is beneficial for all filter feeders, soft corals, Clams, Sponges, Feather duster worms.

Live Phytoplankton Nannochloropsis contains large amounts of: Omega 3 Highly Unsaturated Fatty Acids (HUFAs) EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) This will also benefit the aquarium and inhabitants by feeding and encouraging the growth and reproduction of natural fauna such as copeopods, amphiopods, mysids, rotifers, worms, filter feeders and beneficial bacteria, which will help by improving water clarity and quality consuming waste products and in turn increasing the quantity of natural food available in a system.

Rotifers are the first food you will need to feed your newly hatched clownfish.

Fish species like the Dragonets are extremely difficult to be fed frozen foods, so always ensure your live pod culture is abundant. By adding Phytoplankton and Zooplankton you are providing the required nutrition in order for your pod population to thrive.

When ordering please clearly state of you wanting Phytoplankton or Rotifers cultures. Cultures are 800ml

We are the only reputable dealer that use that use imported fertilizers from UK, not like others trying to make some quick money and you land up with algae blooms in your tank. With now more than 3 years perfecting our culture lab, it pays to get a perfectly balanced live culture that will have no adverse effect on your water quality.

Try our complete home culture DIY kits and spares to get your own cultures thriving.

Ok great thanks sounds good. So what would you recommend that to get. So do you just put this into the tank or do you have to keep a whole separate culture kit that you add every so often to the tank?
