Make sure your floor is strong enough to hold the weight.

How would one go about doing this? Would that not involve trying to get hold of the original plans for the house?

well in my case,i found out from one of the building contractors,im on the 10th floor,and he said that mine flat will easily hold a 5ton truck

by the way this is because he said the older building were built much stronger than what our new ones are built like.he proved it to me with 2 pieces of cement,one was the buildings original and the other after some renovaions,he dropped both to the floor,the new one broke to pieces but the old one just left a few dust particles on the floor

Damn.

Well, my townhouse is very new. A small water pipe burst and not a hell of a lot of water escaped. But this little bit of water made the foundations sag and the whole garage wall plus half of my kitchen now needs to be rebuilt.

Just goes to show that the building industry is not about artisanship anymore, just mass production.

Anyway I would go 700 high with a water level of 650 - 670. 3 Metres long is super impressive. I personally like a wide tank (so does Ej as he cant fit into his). So I would make is Long wide and not too deep.
