forgot about this video clip from 3 years back!, cant remember if i ever posted it here or not....
this was taken on a sunday morning on our way back from fishing of aliwal shoal, we were about to throw a rapala out the back and trawl the surfline before comming in when we spotted this dark shadow and a fin!, so we put th e camera on video mode and i managed to get thisliterally a 200 meters from the umkomaas river mouth and widenham as we were on away back in.

yet another reason why that launch site on hairy days has concern to be even worse if you land up in the water.
main concern on way out is getting stuck on sand banks which happens often and you have to get out in chest high water and try free the boat from the bank while zambezi cruise around....but this video we took ensured i now hold on very very tight when we launch

so why do you stick your hands into the water

Who ever took the video is very very brave!!!

And whoever said being the Waterboy wasn't dangerous LOL. Dude did you stick your hand in the water with that cam, or was it attached to a pole

hand....!
it was just cruising, ive dived in gaansbaai with much bigger okes who aggresive cause they being fed...this oke was placid but adrenalin was high....footage underwater made it look alot closer than it was.

yeah it was actually a waterproof digital camera so took hat off so wind wouldnt blow it and wed miss the chance

cage dive......found it safer in the cage than on the boat as one of the biggest ones "Mamma T" arrived back from a long absence to suprise us
and she was 3/4 of the size of the boat...no bullshit
when the oke asked whos getting in the cage first....my wife and i were first to get wetsuits on....lol

got that on dvd to.......need to think of how to post a clip from that

we off to mauritius in 2 weeks and been told by a mate that some people were snorkeling off a catamaran at le coin de meer a few months back when one buss of a oke sped through behind him.....
and the water there is like 26 degrees

Free dive or cage dive then you can say I've done that... We have been surprised by a great white once while snorkeling & nothing happened but yes had brown marks in my wetsuit...
