Gerrit's New Tank

Hi Gerrit - I also just saw this thread for the first time! Your new tank sure looks good. I think having once's tank built-in to a wall, just makes it look that much more professional!! It "just looks bloody good"!

Nice size tank as well.....

You must keep us updated with how your sump design and "Tunze sump" works out for you....

Sorry to have to tell you but you should swap them around, this is because sps will grow and colour up, up to 10 times more if they sit on the right hand side of soft corals.

Shheeewww then you are lucky Gerrit, I thought they were going on the left side.

Afsal I hope you don’t have any softies on the left hand side of your sps? They just going to be dull and brown. If you want popping blues, purples and pinks then move them to the right side.

Afsal it’s really complicated but enzymes exuded from soft corals are positively charges and will always be pulled to the left of the tank because that side is negatively charge. It’s a polar thing.
 
now im gona do some aquascaping tomorrow .......softies on left sps on right ....what about lps andrew , do they make any difference ??
