So I have started a new tank this past weekend. I bought the tank from a mate that lives in my complex.

My previous tank ran for about two years but due to the scratches in the glass i decided to move on and make a small upgrade.

I was really really looking for a 2m+ tank how ever one of my neighbor needed to get rid of his system to do some home renovations and we struck a deal.

Dimensions
tank 1600x600x600
sump 1200x450x450 4 chamber

Up top
2x Sieo prop 1000 from my old tank
1x Aquamedic 15000 from new tank
8x 58w T5's
2x 54w T5's (extra actinic)

Downstairs

2x Reeftek TS2 skimmers (from old setup, i like redundancy)
1x resun CL650 chiller (running allllllllll day while the lights are on to keep the tank at 25C)
LR
DSB return
25L auto top up
Aquamedic oceanrunner 3500 return pump
Marine color 6 head dosing pump dosing seachem aquavitro products
there are also some homemade denitifying thingies running.

All the fish i had in the left bucket died before the move was complete, I lost the tank favorite local rock blennie 'Gumphry', cleaner wrasse that had since it was a tiny juvy cleaner(caught off warner beach), 1 massive convict tang that disciplined the other tangs, he was more a sheriff than a convict, 1 goldie who was an excellent show man, three chromis that brightened up the tank and gave it extra dimension, 1 yellow tang and 2 clowns which were moving with the new tank.

It was a terrible thing to wake up to on the day of the big move

That's a nice size!

P.S I was told it was best to keep livestock in the dark while they're waiting in the holding containers?
