Got me thinking are there other reefers feeding their fish herbs?

I read somewhere that it’s not beneficial to feed things like lettuce cause fish don’t have the digestive enzymes to break the herbs down. Same like how we don’t have the digestive enzymes to break down grass and leaves. So it won’t have any good effects of you fish and will just increase waste levels. Rather feed nori or dried seaweed.

Very interisting read.....Lettuce ive seen before. Thats actually very common that people feed their fish lettuce. I've never done research into it. But i know i've come accross it many times on forums

I worked in an aquarium and we fed lettuce, broccoli, peas, it needs to be boiled first from my experience
