Hey Mekaeel, the hermits make good grazers.

I'll post more detail in the algae forum over the next couple of days on how I battled with hair algae and remedies that worked for me

lekker sounds cool.had my lights off for 2 days and tank covered with a sheet,there really was a big difference.was scared to go longer than 2 days. sorry bit off topic

Your tank really seems to be coming along nicely - will HAVE to arrange a tank tour in DBN soon.

lol, I think I spend more time with my sump then the actual display itself. My wife can never understand why I find bubbles rising up an acrylic tube so fascinating..

I thought she was going to bust a pin on her needle wheel the other day when I hauled out the vacuum cleaner to suck the dust out of the sump cabinet. Of course I always vacuum the house too.... :whistling:

Thanks Rob, yeah the hair algae put a serious strain on my relationship with my tank. Got so bad that we never used to look at each other and when I did I had nothing nice to say... :lol:
