earthworms as fishfood for marine fish

Hi there Working, planting in garden, found plenty earthworms. Look at it saw, cheap food for my fish. Chop litle worm to small pieces, clean it and trow it in tank. Most fish first smel it than eat it. I know that is not normal food for them so my question is : what are your guys say about it

earthworms are not natural food available in the ocean. Plus with fertilizer and insecticides I would rather stay away.
