Di Resion going brown

no its in closed cupboard does that make a diffrance i think i have made about 300L of water with it so far and di resion is about 2 cm in the brown and i also flush it once a week

Sunlight can make it go brown.
if only 2cm has changed colour its still fine. It's only once all the colour has changed that you need to look at changing it.
If you can get a TDS meter pen from the water boy and you can see exactly when your TDS starts going up.

Shaunnorth I make about 1000L of RO water per DI resin then change it out. The pre-filters should be changed out on average every eight months but I could be wrong. You should flush your unit every now and then to prelong the life of the membrane. I do the flush every time just before I make new RO I let it run on flush for about 5min without it being connected to my DI chaimber.

yeah, if its only a few centremeters its fine......if its completely brown from left to right, you then have a month maximum to change it before readings climb....
good idea to change pre-filters aswell , not membrane
