So do you feed if from the return pump?then where does the exiting water go to,does it just run back into the sump?

i run it off a seperate small pump that is easy to remove - i dont use it all the time. it just sits in the sump, and drains into the return chamber

So why not run it all the time?

i only run it when i get lazy with water changes and the water quality takes a dive. having an extra pump on all the time generates more heat which i already struggle with. and i already have my ATS T-d off from my return, and getting that balance right took me forever so i dont want to fiddle with it.
