corals

I would stick to softies and a few LPS. (avoid sun corals)
 
Kevin - look at the following:
- some zoanthids (not all will do well under that lighting)
- corrallimorph mushrooms
- leather corals (ie. sarcophyton, lobophyton, cauliflower leather)
- hammer/frogspawn/torch LPS corals

These would be the best for a tank with your lighting.....

I wonder what a big 800L tank would look like filled to the top with Banggai? They are quite amazing fish under the right lights. Their spots seem to change from black to luminous blue.

They did not want to eat flake food until this morning. I have been feeding them frozen shrimp, but this morning they decided to chow the flake food.
 
Do you know that these fish host in urchins and will only start breeding if they have one.

I think it is the long spine species
 
Cool, where do I get one from? Will an urchin survive in a nano tank?

I saw some really nice ones in a rock pool near East London a few years back, I am going there later this year, so maybe if they are still there I will bring back one or two.

I think a few urchins in my tank would look really great!

long spined urchins get pretty big, i wouldnt suggest putting one in a nano.

normally seaweed. Long spined will eat your corraline. I feed mine on Ulva/Porphyra and give it a piece of frozen fish/shrimp every now and then.
