Cooling fan unit for TL 550

Looking for a cooling fan unit to install under Boyu TL 550 hood.
Preferable a twin unit, essentially plug and play waterproofed, etc.
Not looking at too much DIY.
Will connect to STC - 1000 unit.
Any recommendations?

You cant fit a unit under hood.... The hood already had units,u can however modify the hood and install 2 fans, 1 blowing in and 1 out... Tools needed is a dremmel,glue 2xpc fans, 12volt adapter and bobs ur uncle .... ....

The only way to cool water using a fan is alowing it to blow accross water surface,so the above may nt be very effective as ur hood will hold in the heat ... Also when using a fan method,ur evaporation will increase significantly so u will have to top up RO more so often

This is what I did with my old JBJ nano
I added a 80mm fan to the front of the tank.. This mod fits in underneath the front lift part. So the lid can close normally and it does not look like it was modified.

here you can see how it fits in under the lid.

Hi, i just put up my diy build, not sure if the tl550 is the same as the hs60, should give you an idea thou. Let me know if you need anything
