Cat drinking from sump.

Hi guy's, I have a question.
My cat drinks water from my r.o. resevoir and sump, can this lead to an increase in po4?
This habit started from a kitten, he won't stop.
Anyone else have this problem, would like to hear your experiences.

I doubt it will add much phosphates to the tank. Maybe a bit of mouth bacteria and hairs worst case I would think.
 
My major concern would be the risk of Palytoxin poisoning which is lethal to animals. But if he's been doing it since he was a kitten I guess he's got more than 9 lives or just become immune to it. :p
 
Looks more like a frag tank instead of a sump...
 
now I'm just as curious as that cat.
 
Yes we all can see it's a fragtank.
