Aslam's Shallow Cube.

I have been busy as of late.
Replaced my skimmer with a bm curve 7.
Cubes been running along too clean, with the frags abit pale for my liking.
I have added 7 fish.
Will post pics soon.

If sps are pale either cut down flow through reactor or cut down slightly on zeostart

Are you using a vertex zeo reactor?I've noticed that the pump on mine had tendency to block up easily with fan worms etc n slow flow down drastically. Iv started checking flow on reactor weekly now.goes quickly

I think the cube's running super clean, no nutrients in the water.
Also, the tank's new, needs to mature abit.
 
Alright, some changes made, replaced vertex skimmer with bm curve 7.
Got bored of my tunzes, added x 2 rw4's.
Growth has been steady given I have started with only frags.

Looks very nice. How are you finding the change to RW-4's? I've also got two, been running for almost 2 1/2 years now without issue. They work great.

Thanks, the flow is more gentle compared to the tunzes.
At least the rw 4's dont click on pulse mode.
I will remove them once the frags grow larger.
 
Update, cubes running along fine.
I am thinking of changing from t5's to halide t5 hybrid.
I have the unit, just need to find time to hang up.
 
Some sad news.
I have noticed montipora eating nudibranchs in my cube.
Will be removing all the plating and digi montis.
Hopefully this will starve them.
Also, placed an order for a small fragtank.
Specs:
600 x 600 x 300(height) 10mm starfire.

Will setup in the coming weeks and post pics.
I am happy to report my acros are doing well.
 
Monit eating nudis are bad news. HAve they damaged any colonies yet?

Yeah, I have since removed all the digis and plating montis.
