Algae bloom

Good evening everyone. I have a tank that has been cycling for a year. The problem is that I keep getting red hair algae blooming. My parameters are all in check. I just can’t seem to win

Hello Dave. Is it Cyano? If so, then it is a bacteria. Cyano Bacteria. Maybe a picture will be best for ID.

Give us a bit more history as well, why has it been cycling for a year? Any livestock at all in the tank?
