Some help please. :p I'm considering adding a second membrane to my RO unit but can't get my head around how it works.

Water goes in the first membrane and you have two outlets, one for waste with a restrictor and another for your RO water. But now if you put the waste from the first into the second membrane then does the restrictor go after the second membrane? And then where does the RO outlet from the first membrane go? It can't go into the second one, there's only one hole? Plus now you've got an extra hole on the second membrane pumping out RO as well? I don't get it. I've tried googe images a couple of times but can't find a pic there that explains it. :(

Ours work like this.

Prefiltered water into membrane (A) RO water out of membrain (A) to tee (good water) waste water from membrane (A) directly into membrane (B) RO water from membrane (B) to tee (good water) waste water membrane (b) to restrictor.

OK we have booster pumps driving the water pressure.
