Thanks it was just a crappy job to get ALL the silicone of but the actual build was fun.

I have the coolest boss and work with the coolest tools at work. I changed the sise for the overflow so I had to cut and modify the braces and overflow pannel. here I am grinding and polising the glass to size at work.
Planing on bying the steel for the stand on monday. sumebody dont pheraps have a steel Cut off masheen that I can borrow for a day?
Thanks its just taking forever becose im working on weekends i try and do a bit of something every time i get a chance and in the complex I stay I'm not alowed to use power tools at knight.
Just a bit of an update but not yet finised. I do some work on the tank as I get time to do so witch isnt a lot unfortunatly.
@Tiger eye, can you please tell me where you bough that strap tightening tool on the bottom of the tank. That looks like a nice tool for my next tank build!

I bough it from Chaimberlans. I can't remember wat was the cost but I use it to build picture frames, when u turn the clamp it puls all 4 corners together at the same time.

Jip there is nothing more frustrating than wanting to build something and you don't have the right tools to do it with.
Here is the stand so far it was sepose to go for powder coating but then I bougt the light pendant so now I have to make a frame to hang it and then attach it to the frame.
A friend of mine is doing the Powder coating for free for me.
Yes the feet are ajusteble I used 10mm high tenstile bolts and 40mm long nuts for more stabilaty.

Ok so I did the water test today and it was sucsesfull. I must say it was the most stresfull moments wating for the tank to fill up.
Filed to the brim and no leaks yippee!
