So after being on MASA for a while I'm finally starting my tank thread. It's a 225 litre in wall tank.
Dimensions: 150Lx25Wx60H

The tank has been running for about 2-3 months now.

During the cycle I added Seachem Stability for added bacteria. The cycle lasted 3-4 weeks. I've already been through a diatom and cyano stage.

Filtration- Its a sumpless system so I have.

Tunze 9004 skimmer
Tunze filter

In the filter there is a sponge, Phosgaurd and Carbon.

Flow is from a Tunze nano stream pump and the filter.

Lighting: DIY T5 unit with ATI globes.

I've got a mix of Tonga branch, Fiji and Kenya live rock. The sand I have is sugar fine aragonite.

Fish:
At the moment just a 2-3cm convict tang.

Inverts:
Lots of mini brittle stars
A conch
2 snails
Loads if tiny little snails that came with the live rock.

Coral:
Stylopora
Leather
Green star polyps
Encrusting SPS?
Short tentacle plate
Unknown (brain?)
Zoas
Blue mushroom
Ricordea

Any comments, thoughts and ideas will be appreciated

where's the full tank shot
try to avoid the reflections - take at night with back covered

I have had one that did that aswell i think it is temperature related
As these are cold water urchins .
Try keeping your temp at a max of 24 for best results with those long
Spined guys.
If any of the spikes fall off then its too late for him to recover
Did you collect him or buy him?
I once found one with a bright orange mouth

take it out.
Even the spines.
