FANTASTIC! Thanks Geordie :) WOW! Not a plastic bag in site! Ha ha.. Are there any jobs for TV Transmitter technicians in Scotland?
Whats the cost of the lodge?

Plenty of transmitters up here because of all the mountains.........

The lodge comes fully furnished and stocked with linen, for the 10 bedrooms. All cooking utensils , but we bring our food as we're 8 miles from nearest shop via dirt track or 4x4 road, and thats tiny.
All wood supplied for the fires,
All gas......... No electric............. even the fridge is gas.

Remember this is a proper fishing shooting hill lodge.......... everything thats there arrived by boat at one time

We pay £1600 for the week and that includes all petrol for the 4 boats supplies and also a toyota hi-lux supplied by the estate.

Divide by 10 guys ............. great week........ food and drink extra (and there are always plenty of extras!!)

Oh my Geography of your country ......... I should be ashamed.

Answer me a question please, for a poor scottish guy....

What does the word LEKKER mean...I've seen it a few times

It means: Nice or tasty (when used with food) Or great! when talking about company.
Or very.. When used to describe how hungry you are. Ek is nou lekker honger.

Hey Geordie we need to bring you up to speed with some South Africanisms.

There are heaps and heaps, we're just a small country but the change in dialect is intense.

lol, we came here when I was about 6 months old, the rest of the family all buggered off back to the UK many years ago but I wasn't too keen on it so I stayed here, although I have been back a couple of times for holidays, great place with lovely scenery, except for london :p

LOL......It's much better the further north you get........but I would say that.

I think you made a good choice..this countries a mess....

Cheers.
