Hi,

To begin with,
I am completely new to the salt water fish tanks.

A friend of mine is selling his red sea 250 for R10000 and was wondering if this would be a good buy for me to buy? My whole life I have been in the tropical fish industry and I am very keen on buying and starting my very first ever salt water tank

I have done all my research, only problem now is to buy everything and would like to know your opinion on this tank? Will this be a good first time buy since it basically comes with everything?

I have seen some people advertising tanks, I am wondering if this will be a good deal for me to buy? Or should I wait and look for better deals?

Tank includes everything you see on the photos.
In the bottem he only has cupboards, the sump system is build in at the back. He has 6x T5 lights and not LED, lights are 4 months old.

Ps: My name is Werner, sorry for the nickname, it’s my gaming nickname

Eish.. 10k is alot with no live rock/sand or live stock...

Skimmer
Wave makers...

I would say to first find out what you want in the tank.

There are very good tanks for sale for less then half that price.

Rash had a red sea max 250 for 4000

Ok thank you. I will then rather keep an eye on the forum for more tanks.
I would love to have a community tank.

2nd hand rsm250 tanks go on average between r6k to r10k depending on what comes with it.
