sorry, but now I'm jumping on you.
On the 11 May your tank was half full of water. With a lot of work still in progress.
On the 23rd May you had fish in there.
Mega Cayno outbreak by 8 June, implying that your cycle was not complete.

Now you got a Rose Bubble tip anemone. Please read up on anemones. And the suggested practise of only introducing them to mature tanks. Normally from after 8 months.

What lightning unit do you have? RBTA does prefer less intense lights compared to other anemones. And can be kept under effective T5.

And your powerheads are not anemone safe. Be careful when the anemone starts wondering. If that anemone gets eaten by a pump, you could have nemocyst (stinging cells) all over, killing all your fish.

Please do not see this as an attack, I'm trying to help you and your lifestock.

Remember this was my new tank.. I transfered my stuff over from my other old tank.

i have T5's and Mh 150w x 2...

as for the powerheads im in the process of nemmie proofing them

Also this has nothing to do with a cycle not being complete.
i know of friends that still have outbreaks with 5 year old tanks..

my cycle was done for 3 months last year already... i have 20kg's of live rock in a bin running for 3 months...

OK, cool, I saw the rock in the sump. They looked OK
Not sure how big your older tank was, but you mentioned a nano. Is it the tank to the left in the pictures at the beginning?

Your lights should be fine. RBTS

Yes cyano can always revisit you. Overfeeding for example. Overgrowing of corals that impact the once perfect water flow (old tank syndrome).

Its not so clear in this thread what was moved over. So I had to warn you on the anemone.

Basically since last year Sept i has live rock in bin waiting to start a tank..
Then i started the Nano with +- 200L.. after 2 months i thought wait this is way to small for me.

So then i transfered all the things into a 500l dt. including the gravel and small dsb from the previous tank to keep all the already alive Bacteria.

It might be a couple months early for the Anemone, but i have a very low bio load, and my tank parameters have been stable for over 2 months.

So i understand were you come from.

Hopefully everything will be ok.

Well abit of an update
Well Ive been fighting Whitespot after a power cut.
Losses as Follows:
1 x Kole Tang
3 x Neon Damsels
2 x PJ Cardinals

Very Upset about the losses and battling to keep the want to go on..
Taken up painballing to take out my anger on..
As u can take it ive just come back from a paintball match in lots of pain and bruises all over... but was alot of fun.

So ya. im dosing herbatana now and lowering my Salinity to .022 over the next week or so, currently sitting on 025..

oh well and thats that...

Not nice but please invest in a backup solution for power cuts. Its a grudge purchase but a necessity just like our other equipment. The money you lost on fish would have been enough to cover a fair bit of the cost of the backup system. The peace of mind is really worth the money as well.
