My 24G is fully cycled, inhabitants so far is only a serpent starfish. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get a CUC yet (No stock available in JHB)
I noticed there were some diatoms in the tank, and now a bit of growth of green hair algae. I have aquiPHOS in the rear chambers, and I thought the best way to combat this algae before it gets a foothold is by reducing light?
I want to know, how much light will my coral need to survive?(Frogspawn, Mushrooms, and palythoa type polyps)
I also bought some marine snow (which I have not used yet) that I could possibly add to feed the corals while the light is reduced.
Any advice?
