Hi all

map I have recently had time on my hands again to get setup again, took a bit of work to refurbish everything however it has all come together quite nicely, I have decided to go with a fish only tank as I am going to be collecting my own specimens this time round, tank is currently cycling

So an update on my tank it has been cycling for 3 weeks, I now have rock in the tank and I am seeing (what I believe to be) Copepods and Amphipods on the tank glass

It looks stunning, even without livestock, speaking of livestock, what do you plan to keep?
Thanks so much for the reply, its going to be a fish only tank, main source of livestock will be locally caught stuff, I will have 1 or 2 bought fish that I wont be able to catch in the local waters eg. Copperband

Quick update, last week went for a snorkel got 5 hermit crabs and a 2 snails, so they have been in the tank for a few days been cool watching them eat the algae, then went to local petshop to get a green chromis however they didnt have any in stock so was persuaded by my girlfriend to get a Pakistan Butterfly Fish, a Cream Angel Fish and a clown. All 3 introduced into the tank yesterday all 3 ate last night and seem to have settled nicely

I agree the idea was just to get a fish swimming in tank so I could upgrade it from crab tank to fish tank lol

I had a blue chromis in my previous tank and the little bugger digged all the sand from under the live rock and the whole scape came crushing down. And it was a bugger to catch in the tank... Personally i would not suggest chromis..
