Just been load shedded!

thans wee man been feeling down all day
started my genni at 2 am this morning for 15 min but noise was quite bad so i shut down
 
From my experience, as it sounds like we had the same power failure.

I just run air to the tank and livestock did fine, you can even use a battery operated pump, on two 1.5V batteries will last longer than 12 hours.
 
oxygen, my tank is quite stocked temp was23.5 not to bad so after 12 hours somrthing had to give

Most of the LFS have. just phone the usual suspects to check they have stock, they have been selling loads in the last couple of months.
 
Not just a problem is RSA

Seeing that its getting chilly now, whats the best way to insulate a tank during power cuts? Would polystyrene sheets cut to size be a good idea?
 
Polystyrene sheets will definitely work or wrap a couple of blankets around the tank.
