Been waiting for it, and they picked my Sunday afternoon to do it - 2hours!

Anyway, I got an awesome lithium powered LED light/torch and caught hundreds of tiny things running around my LR and surface so nice to see things are happening in my tank.

One question - when power goes off, how bad are the bubbles/skimmate that doesn't make it into the cup?

Hi Gaboon! No worries about that - when the electricity comes back on again - the skimmer will just circulate and the skimmer will just "catch" the uglies in the water again!

Any chance we could claim for losses through our insurance?

A guy that works at the LFS did claim, but not due to load shedding. They lost power for 2 days.

Thats a bad one Calvin, what do you do? I mean like covering with blankets, still youd need a stack of them to keep temp in range. I used to breed in homemade gas powered incubator.
