A few years back JBJ offered an LED version of the 28 gallon JBJ Nano Cube and the company is adding more LED aquariums to the JBJ Nano Cube LED series family with the 6, 12 an 24 gallon versions. All three of the Nano Cubes will feature the standard filtration but have added high-intensity LEDs to the system.
Unlike the first iteration of the 28G JBJ Nano Cube LED aquarium, the latest additions to the LED series features high intensity 1.3W LEDs that are all sealed inside the canopy with built in cooling fans to keep them operating at a cooler temperature. The new JBJ LED NanoCube series uses higher quality LEDs that will help resolve some of the performance issues. Here is a complete rundown of the three systems:
- 6 gallon Glass Cube
- Integrated 3 stage filtration with single return nozzle
- JBJ LED high intensity bulbs
- 3 x 1.3 w 20,000K Blue LEDs
- 3 x 1.3w 10,000K White LEDs
- Total Wattage: 7.8 W
- 50000 hours lifespan LED bulbs with a 30% reduction in output.
- Projected MAP Pricing: $199.99
JBJ NANO CUBE 12 GALLON:
- 12 gallon Glass Cube
- Built in 3 Stage Filtration with single return nozzle
- Fan cooled flip top canopy
- JBJ LED high intensity bulbs
- 5 x 1.3 w 20,000K Blue LEDs
- 3 x 1.3w 10,000K White LEDs
- Total Wattage: 10.48 W
- 50000 hours lifespan LED bulbs with a 30% reduction in output.
- Projected MAP Pricing: $249.99
