I've got lots of green coraline algae, but little pink/purple. (Circular growths on back of tank glass.) I was not cleaning the back and thought some nice pink and purple coraline back there would look ok, but it's covered in the green ones. Only one little pink one in site. How do I encourage the pink/purple/maroon colors and discourage the green?

There was a Post yesterday, on MASA about Coraline Algae and I gave a couple of Web Links and some Info.... you can read that.... should probably steer you in the right direction..hope this Thread helps...

Thanks. Several pink dots showed up today. Oh, and my larger kenya decided to go on a self-fragging spree... There are several branches just chillin in different parts of the tank. :p
