Is a WP-10 pump enough

Is a Jebao WP-10 wavemaker enough for a TL-550? I put one in to replace a large +-3800l/h pump. However it feels much weaker at it's strongest speed setting at constant flow.
(I also have another 1000l/p pump)

Since my tank has allot of hair algae still, I can see that there are much less currents than before. Is the WP-10 really 4000l/h as I feel I should have bought a stronger one.

Would replacing the 1000l/h pump with another wp-10(i.e. having 2) be a problem?

Can I run a WP-25 on this tank?
 
what pump was the larger older pump?
A 4000L/h pump should do the job. I got 2 Seio 530 pumps, rated at 2000L/h each in a TL550. And seems to be doing OK, but yes, tank is still cycling, so no corals yet. So I cannot really say yes or no.
 
I will have to check when I get home. I bought the tank 2nd hand and replaced that pump as it was large and bulky, thinking the Wp-10 would be a good replacement due to it's small size and similar rates output.
 
In terms of total flow,rate, one wp 10 will do, BUT you have to consider flow dynamics. If budget allows, rather get two and turn their flowrate down.
