Innovative Marine's future in South Africa?

Hi all

Please can anyone give me some feedback as to the state of Innovative Marine in South Africa, I have previously owned two of tanks from the Nuvo Range and currently now one from their Fusion Range.

I have noticed that there have been no new tanks from their new ranges available here. Is that due to the fact that stock levels here on previous models need to be sold first or that possibly Innovative Marine is being phased out in South Africa.

I really enjoy there tanks and equipment but have been holding out for their newer stock.

Any feedback at all will be greatly appreciated.

I think Nathan was the distributor and he closed down, not sure if someone took over.
 
Yes, think end of last year he sold quite a few things, not sure if he stopped importing before that.
 
I too was looking for some of their products, the spin stream nozzle is no where to be found and was told they were no longer stocked here and new stock won't be coming in. Their new tanks are really awesome, a pity if we can't get their products here.

From what i recall. Nathan supplied infinity aqua which was made by the same company. It was due to the supplier, innovative marine giving rights to someone else in SA. He did have stock of some of their products from the 1st shipment he brought in.
 
Yeah, it really is a pitty if they no longer become available as there are very few all in one systems that continually bring out new styles and options to the consumers like they do.
 
aquarium depot, South Africas largest wholesaler was trying to save the brand in SA, and did stock their items..............not sure
what has happened since but i still have price lists from innovative marine from the aquarium depot catalogue. ill check up on stocks and revert for you
 
I Suppose it should be a separate thread but is that similar to what happened to Kessil here and why it's no longer available?
 
There are quite a few who have sales on current stock at the moment. Seems like mostly the fusion 10,20 and the sr60,80 and 120 still available.

I am hoping that someone will still be looking to take over the brand and be bringing in more and the new stock as well.
 
You mean the drip set you buy from dischem or any medical supplier for R30 bucks lol

If you went to interzoo you'd be surprised at how blatant the repackaging of simple items were and then sensationalized because they were branded. Some people just buy for convenience sake.
