ID on snail/invert

Hi Guys,

I noticed this guy on the back of one of my rocks this eveneing. Any ideas on what it is?

Also noticed a ticking noise in my tank every now and then and at first thought its just my tank, but then i read up and noticed that there are some hitchikers that actually make this kind of noise in the tank as they dig. what are they and how do i get them out?
 
The ticking noise is most probably a pistol shrimp.

No idea what the white blob is. Does it move around?
 
Cannot get a better picture, but it was not there when I put the rock in. I will check tonight if it moved.
