Hi all, i have now experienced a problem with my Hailea 500A chiller. It had a gas leak which i got repaired. I never used it since i got it back from repairs. It was taken to Middelburg to repair so going back there is not really an option. Wha happens the moment i put the plug into a socket (plug has been checked and all wires are secure) is that it actually trip on my DB board. This shows that it has a big electrical problem. From what logic may tell me it could be getting wet somewhere iside and that's why it acts this way? Any electrical guys or DIY experts that could please assist in getting to the problem and getting it sorted?

@Zandy, although plug and wires intact, have you checked the cabling, maybe while in for repairs it could have got a kink in it or damaged to the point of entry into the chiller, sometimes cannot be seen from the outside. Could cause issues. Water is another problem i have experienced with my 150a haliea chiller

Thank you i will check the rest of the cabling, what do you mean water is another problem? What issue did you have with your chiller?

what do you mean water is another problem?

On my nano tank, i sprung a lbad eak and water got to the back of the unit, thought i had dried everything but apparently not, and it kept on tripping the electricity. Opened the whole chiller up and dried everywhere especially by all wiring and all back to normal

thank you hopefully its something minor and has dried in the meantime
