Glynn Formans 8000l (2200 gallon) System

This is a tank to see in real life, way to rich for my blood though.
 
Any news on the rebuild, amazing system this

Dont think anything so far, when it starts we will have monthly updates on the progress.
 
DragonReef/Alan - do you guys still have contact with Glynn? Perhaps ask him if we could perhaps have an update on this? It has been more than 6 months now...

I (and I am quite sure nearly ALL our reefer friends) would just LOVE to see updated pictures, as well as perhaps some pics on Glynn's new planned 12000 litre tank?

Yip, my tank will day look as good and i do wish alot. lol
 
Will get hold of him and ask permission. I know the new tank has not been started yet due to hold up in building.
 
Alan, find out how he is doing with the power cuts, I guess he must be running a rather large generator to keep that tank going.

Perhaps you can ask Glynn this question of Dean too - and post his response? Whether he has lost anything due to the power cuts, and what he does to keep his life-stock from dying?
 
I wouldn't think so as with such a large volume of water you will find it fairly stable for a longer period. I know at one stage we were having load shedding 2x a day and had no ill affects on my system, didn't even run the gennie.
