Hi Guys.
I see Glyns tank is finally being seen. At last.
I saw him about a week ago and was as usual gob smacked by his tank. I said when is SARK going to do your tank. He said ya someone was coming around, Anthony he thought. He He.
I' m delighted to see it getting the recognition it so deserves.
its been a while since i was there so i can see a huge difference in the system..... i could barely breath let alone talk when i stood in front of this beast 2 years ago..... lovely.....
oh by the way he is planning a bigger one 6m x 3m x 1.5..... have been talking to him about it for a while but hes having a problem with the structural stength of the floor in the proposed area.....
with glynns talents and knowledge dare i say it will be the best tank in south africa....
This truly is a breath-taking aquarium, backed up by a very knowledgeable aquarist. I’m glad to see some of the clams I traded with Glynn are still doing well, (no not the monster one’s) and the colonies have grown into SUPA COLONIES!!
Good question Goldfish, I'm not sure if Glynn has a back up generator.
To date Durban has been fairly fortunate with power outages only lasting a few hours. My area has been unaffected - touch wood. I will try and find out if he has a generator.
Awesome - truly awesome - have heard talk of this tank and must say that I had no idea it was this impressive. Is this part of his house ?? You mentioned the kitchen - wow !!!!
I am sure a fair investment have gone into it and it costs a bit to keep it running also. As said though - money does not guarentee a succesfull tank.
Kudos - I would love to see this before it is taken down.
