Glynn Formans 8000l (2200 gallon) System

Hopefully we will get updated pics of this magnificent reef tank tomorrow.
 
hey alan i spoke to glynn yesterday and told him we needed engine room pics and he said he'd give you a call....

Ok guy's here we go as promised. Once again I would just like to thank Glynn for letting us come back and take more pics of this amazing system.

It was a pleasure visiting this tank a second time, i was as gobsmacked as the first time.
 
always better to see it the second time as you are so in awe that you cant correctly process everything.....

As promised some more pictures of the Display itself. Photographing this tank was difficult. The Skylight above the tank as well as the reflections from outside played havoc with settimgs, and I'm such and Amatuer.. So my apologies to Glynn and you guy's for the quality of some of these pics but you will get the idea :

Are any of the skylights used for supplying direct light? If not why?

I don,t see any macro algae or dsb. Is there a reason?
 
I would say the main reason is Glynn uses a denitrator and therefore no need for one.
 
hectic stuff, i reckon with that water volume params would stay pretty stable too
 
What an amazing tank and i would never ake it down gee....Thanks for that dragon now i just wanna go and rip my tank off its stand becasue its so small in comparisen...:)
