Definitely, their natural habitat is on the sand.

I put my Fungia on the sand,Cause Fungias can move on substrate sufaces

thanx guys, will def put the fungia on the substrate. i just have an issue with a sand dollar that likes picking things up and moving them to different areas in the tank. lol
