Frog spawn

Yip, You should have gone there before me then I wouldn't feel so bad now for not buying it on the other hand it's better you got it or else I would have been in the dog box now, can't allways get away with a coral costing just R50:smilielol5:
 
i am going to use mine to host my clowns as i dont want to add anemones to the tank because of ther walking around habit....
 
One of my best and most rewarding corals, i have a pair of percs that host in the colony.
 
Yip one of my favourites as well.

There was a time when Warren at Koi & Jungle had arguably one of the best display tanks that I've ever seen. What made it so interesting was his massive frog spawn colonies.
Sadly the tank is a wreck these days :(
 
Yeah i remember the tank at koi one of the tanks that pushed me over to the dark side, very sad what it looks like today.
 
frog spawn looks cool guys,leslie, tell me, what is the maximum surface area that the frog spawn requires.

when you say colony you mean individualism? so lets say you place a small fragg from a large colony in a small tank then over time it will invade every bit of space or would it grow only to the size of the tank ?

The pic above is a colony all growing from one base as they grow more branches form. yes they will out grow a tank any coral will that when you start fragging.
 
cool kalks, i like this coral too, guess you know my next question :) have you got any?
 
Anyone fragging frogspawn in CPT? wouldn't mind purchasing a piece, they look stunning...
 
kalks for now i think i will go with the frog spawn and green star polyps, so maybe my clowns could host one of them instead of getting a nemmie ;)
