showeee.. didnt know that it was that easy. I was under the impression that when you frag a coral, you cut 1 piece off.....

Hi Darren - most likely because (like most reefers) don't KNOW that it CAN be done, neither how easy it is.... It's just the attaching of the corals that's was daunting for me..... Cutting the corals is nothing really - done it plenty times

A quick update now that our power is back on.The fishnet impression now completely gone.

I had some guys asking me what happens to the stem of the original coral.Well it grows a new head of polyps.If you look closely you can just see them starting to show.

About the size of a sideplate around 20cm.

Not much difference there ,why do you ask.The only reason I chop them up is because they grow so quickly and start to take up to much space.Befor you know it they are 30 cm + across.

I had a little leather frag that I could not get to "stick" so tried your method... Used the netting from the sack that onions are sold in. So far so good!
