I am looking for 2 External/In Line Pumps. The ones I saw on the internet that is more or less the flow rate I require, are the SICCE MULTI 4000. It has a flow rate of about 3800l/h and a 3.8m head and uses about 52 Watts. If you have something similar or better, please contact me as i need 2 of them.

ALSO

I am looking for a Submersible pump.

Again, as per what I googled, the SICCE MASTER dw 8000lt/h with a 6m head (Yes, I am lazy and stopped on the SICCE page as there are 1000's of different pumps), but these above 3 pumps, is what I am looking for in size..

Also, if you have and you can courier (depends on your price), contact me

Nowadays DC pumps are getting more and more the pump to get. Control is nice, and not having 240V in the sump is good. There are so many DC pumps now available and deciding is not that easy. Some are straight rip offs of other. Controller even looks exactly the same. And the DC pumps tends to move more water for less wattage. And per volume, the DC pump body tends to be smaller than the same flow rate AC pump.

Disadvantage is that you now have 3 things that can go wrong. Power supply, Controller and the pump. Then again, they do carry the same warranty period if not longer. Those from Les looks good.

Yeah, there are now a AC pump that is controllable, but not yet available everywhere. Price and durability I'm not sure about either.

Understood. But why a controller needed if I know the flow rate I require already.

As you rightly said, it is just more stuff to worry about and more cables to hide.

And me being through all the "This is the trend nowadays/If it is not Bubble Magnus/Diabolo/Red Dragon/Sicce it ain't worth it stories" ...lol.

Been there, done it, got the t shirt. My Reef Octopus Skimmer was bought in 2007 and it still works, My MH and T5's I bought in 2012 still works- Yes, My electricity Bill might be higher than Pete Next door, but I have gotten used to it by now.

I just thought with all the Sponsors on this page, I would have received better response. I even phoned a supplier in Durban that I used to buy quite a lot from- said he will phone back in 10 minutes- I am still waiting (5 days later). Imagine if it was still a Landline and I had to sit next to it and wait- I would have starved of hunger by now...

And missed all the cricket on TV over the weekend... Unless you move your landline to the TV room.

Sea there are so many pumps out there now to choose from, straight AC pumps are way stronger on head height than DC, DC are nice as they just offer controllability.

We are looking at an AC line for future that my company will import.

Currently we have an agency for Hydor but we have not brought any of those pumps in yet.

I have got two brand new Sicce 7000 l/hr pumps, still in the box if you are interested, never been used.
They can be run internal or external, wet or dry, whichever expression you chose.
