I need help guys.. My live rock end-up deadrock:( in my FOWLR tank what to do to revive em'? there's nothing in it but a red algae...though i can now control the red algae with my newly set-up 50gals sump. Is there's i can do to bring back the living organism in my live rock?
Tnx guys...

Same as what you would do with Bio rock, place it in a setup that have live rock on it and the growth will slowly move over to the old live rock. But be carefully if the old rock has died off, I would first cure it a gain before placing it in my main setup. If you don't do this you will have cycle in your main setup.

Was the rock out of water?

Well, then its not technically dead. Its just inhabited by things that are undesirable 2 u. What do u mean by dead? That its not pink, or that it has no Macroscopic organisms? If u have not dried the rock or treated it with copper the bacteria are still there. To change its appearance would need for u to change overall tank conditions. Eg. Lower Phosphates etc.

Its in the display tank..Its slowly dying off for a year now. i already washed em' and sent back to diplay tank..
Washed them using FW?
When you say i is "dying off", you mean there is no growth like Coraline Algae on it?
That is something that can be sorted out by having your Ca, Mg, and Alk in check.
As long as the rock is in the tank and not removed (to dry) or rinsed in FW, that rock is alive. Pods etc... will still be present.

Yeah i washed 'em with FW. before i slightly brush the rock inside the tank to remove the covering red algae but like i said i lost control of the red algae and got spread to all rocks so i decided to wash them outside the tank.

i said dying-off because before im seeing lots of living things in the rock like small featherduster that poppin' in and out. but now its all gone.. rock is dead i think the way i see it.

I gez i need to recure the rock..acquire some another liverock...am i right mek?
can i put the new live rock into my DSB or directly in to the display tank?

TNX in ADVANCE

Yeah i see no living organism anymore. and the rock is something like color purple or magenta before and now its all brown and blotched of white.:( i love them seeing color purple...making them my FOWLR tank beautiful:(

Can you post some pics please then the guys can see what you are talking about and give you better advice

When washing live rock off, always use salt water, whether it be salt mix or NSW, using freshwater will kill the bacteria in the rock. As said, you would need to cure the rock once again, and I suggest that you take it out the Display as you could get an ammonia spike which can kill your fish.

Ok, how long ago did you rinse the rock? What you have there sounds like Cyano. Please post a pic so we can re-confirm. In the mean time, do a few water changes and run Po4 remover, time to get rid of the phosphates trapped inside.
Once that is done and all the Cyano is gone, you can re-seed the rock by adding good quality LR over it or if you have an abundance of pods in your sump/DSB, it will sort out the LR.

i'll try soon..but the rock are all clean now and i rearranged the tank..siphoned lots of ditrus since i installed new 50gals sump. maybe i really need to acquire another quality liverock to reseed em'
