I have one which is coming to the end of it's quarantine period. Can I introduce it cleaner shrimp and harlequin shrimp in the tank. It's normal diet includes small crustaceans. Will it chow down on bigger ones? It's eating flake and peas at the moment.

From my personal experience the shrimps will be fine, it it is the little ones you have to worry about.

I had one with Blood, Cleaner, Peppermint and Boxing shrimps, no problem but all fully grown.

Once added a smaller shrimp and never saw him again, it could have been various other creatures or factors, but now have to "grow-out" shrimps in my sump first before adding to main display.

Hey Warr, that's great news. How big did your wrasse get? I read that they get to 20cm. I saw an adult pair whilst diving a couple of weeks ago, probably about 25cm, but absolutely stunning colours.

Mine got to about 120mm before his unfortunate demise :(

they dont seem to mind colder water aswell as i see them often in mermaids pool when im coming back in from surfing. aswome couloured specimin you got there.

You won't believe it.... my ladder wrasse too is perfectly happy (JUST BECAUSE I CANNOT CATCH IT - I tried to catch the bugger, believe me) in my small tank, which is sitting at 18 degrees at the moment..... ;) (don't ask why - I will reveal all soon)...
